Key Responsibilities:
- Requirements Gathering: Work closely with stakeholders, including product managers, developers, and business leaders, to gather and document business requirements for banking, e-commerce, and e-learning platforms.
- Process Analysis: Analyze current business processes and workflows, identifying areas for improvement and recommending solutions that enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
- Solution Design: Collaborate with technical teams to design and propose solutions that align with business goals, ensuring that requirements are accurately translated into technical specifications.
- Gap Analysis: Perform gap analysis to determine where current systems fall short of business needs, and work with stakeholders to bridge these gaps.
- User Stories and Use Cases: Develop detailed user stories, use cases, and acceptance criteria to guide development efforts and ensure that solutions meet user needs.
- Data Analysis: Analyze and interpret data from various sources to identify trends, patterns, and insights that inform business decisions.
- Stakeholder Communication: Act as a liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams, facilitating clear and effective communication to ensure alignment throughout the project lifecycle.
- Testing and Validation: Participate in the testing and validation of new features and systems, ensuring they meet business requirements and function as expected.
- Documentation: Create and maintain comprehensive documentation, including business requirements documents (BRD), functional specifications, and process flow diagrams.
- Project Management Support: Assist project managers in planning, tracking, and reporting on project progress, ensuring that projects are delivered on time and within scope.
- Market Research: Conduct market research to stay informed about industry trends, competitor offerings, and emerging technologies that could impact the platform.
- Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for continuous improvement in business processes and systems, recommending changes that enhance business performance.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- 4+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, with a focus on banking, e-commerce, and/or e-learning platforms.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and make informed decisions.
- Proficiency in business process modeling techniques, including experience with tools like Visio, Lucidchart, or similar.
- Experience in creating detailed business requirements documents, functional specifications, and other project documentation.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to manage relationships with diverse stakeholders across multiple departments.
- Basic understanding of software development processes and technologies, enabling effective collaboration with technical teams.
- Experience with data analysis tools like Excel, SQL, or similar to perform data-driven analysis.
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies, including Scrum and Kanban, and experience working in Agile teams.
- High attention to detail, with the ability to ensure accuracy and completeness in documentation and analysis.
- Basic project management skills, including experience in planning, tracking, and reporting on project progress.
- Experience in banking, e-commerce, or e-learning domains is highly desirable.
- Business analysis certification such as CBAP (Certified Business Analysis Professional) or PMI-PBA (Professional in Business Analysis) is a plus.
- Basic understanding of UX/UI principles to collaborate effectively with design teams.
