Role Overview:
The Engineering Manager is responsible for people leadership, delivery execution, and technical alignment across cloud-based product platforms. The role bridges architecture, engineering execution, and business outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead multiple engineering teams delivering SaaS/PaaS/IaaS applications
- Own delivery commitments, sprint execution, and release planning
- Partner with Enterprise & Solution Architects on technical direction
- Drive engineering best practices, code quality, and performance
- Build and mentor high-performing engineering teams
- Ensure alignment with DevOps, security, and compliance standards
- Manage capacity planning, hiring, performance, and career growth
- Track and improve engineering productivity and delivery metrics
Required Skills and Qualifications
- 10+ years in software engineering with 5+ years in people leadership
- Strong understanding of microservices, APIs, cloud-native architectures
- Exposure to Python, PHP, React, and modern backend stacks (governance level)
- Experience managing multi-product, distributed team
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Experience in banking, e-commerce, Retail, FinTech, EdTech, AgriTech, Government, or platform products
- Exposure to Agile at scale (SAFe, LeSS)
